Overview

The Blood Donor vehicles is normally fitted with a 140 litre specialist fridge for storing donated blood. The fridge electronically controls the temperature between 2 and 8 degrees celsius to keep the stored blood at optimum temperatures. It will run off the vehicle 12v DC system or can be connected to 220v AC when the 12 V DC supply automatically shuts off. The unit also has built in temperature and low battery audio/visual alarms.
