Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal visits TGS

At the end of 2023, Toyota Gibraltar Stockholdings was honoured to host Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, during their brief visit to Gibraltar. Also, in attendance was His Excellency the Governor of Gibraltar, Sir David Steel.

Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal is the patron of the UK charity Save the Children, and TGS has provided 4x4 vehicles to the organisation for over 15 years for aid and humanitarian projects worldwide.

George Bassadone OBE, Owner and President and Kevin Jones, Executive Chairman, welcomed Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal to the TGS premises, after which Nick Prior, TGS Logistics and Parts Manager, and Ian Martinez, MBE, TGS Workshop Manager, conducted a tour of the TGS operations. During the tour, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal had the opportunity to witness how the Toyota vehicles are prepared for global humanitarian operations to help change lives.

The visit concluded with Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal and Sir Tim Laurence talking to TGS management team members before unveiling a plaque to commemorate her visit.
