Fleet Forum 2023 - Recap

TGS was delighted to be a co-host of the 20th annual Fleet Forum Conference. For the third year in a row, TGS sponsored the event.

This year saw over 1,500 registrations for the conference from aid and humanitarian organisations and logistics companies looking to develop sustainable transport for a better world.

During our host presentation, TGS highlighted several of the sustainable initiatives, in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), that we have incorporated into our business, from the use of electronic tablets that have replaced paper in our workshops, our recycling of various materials through to the renewable energy that is produced by our solar farm that powers our operations. All of these initiatives help to reduce our carbon footprint. TGS will continue to explore new initiatives over the coming years to help reduce our carbon footprint in the future.

Dan Hardy, our Road Safety Program Manager, hosted a breakout session to explain the importance of training drivers to be safe on the road, foresee possible hazards, and drive their vehicles more sustainably to help reduce emissions and improve fuel efficiency.

Throughout the 2-day event, we heard from leading figures within the sector, providing valuable insights into their sustainable initiatives and the challenges the industry needs to overcome to achieve carbon neutrality.

In October 2023, Fleet Forum will be hosting a Summit a day before the start of AidEx Geneva. The Summit will allow organisations to discuss their learning from the virtual conference and what sustainable initiatives they want to introduce to reduce their carbon footprint.
