TGS appoints new CEO - Nick Laird

Nick Laird appointed CEO of TGS

Nick Laird has been officially appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Toyota Gibraltar Stockholdings. He replaces Kevin Jones who moves to the position of Group Executive Chairman. This means that we have strengthened the leadership team with the objective to continue the strong company performance in the coming years. Nick was previously heading up the SsangYong UK operation which is another key part of the Bassadone Group.

Nick has a strong academic background from Oxford University and comes with significant automotive experience having entered the automotive industry as part of a Ford Management Trainee Scheme and then working for Ford for 10 years both in UK and Germany. His experience includes 15 years in private equity and 5 years in software and is therefore knowledgeable in a number of industries. He is looking forward to working with the TGS teams to build upon the TGS success story.
