Overview

With the extra demand for electrical power required when using such items as Codan radios, winches etc. plus the need to operate in cold climates we have developed double battery installations for our vehicles.

A second battery tray is fitted to accommodate the heavy-duty battery and a battery separator is installed to ensure both batteries receive the correct charge.

When fitting items such as winches or radio equipment, these items are wired directly to the second battery.
