Fleet Forum Conference 2026
30th June 2026
Road crashes do not have to happen. In many cases, they can be prevented through better awareness, safer driving habits and practical systems that help teams manage risk before an incident occurs.
For organisations working in humanitarian, development and field environments, road safety is more than a transport issue. It affects staff wellbeing, vehicle availability and the ability to keep programmes running safely and on time. A single preventable incident can create delays, increase costs and disrupt important operations.
TGS Road Safety Training is designed around this reality. Drawing on TGS Fleet Services' understanding of the day-to-day pressures faced by humanitarian and field-based teams, the programme combines practical driving techniques, risk awareness and driver coaching to help drivers and fleet teams make safer decisions in real conditions. Rather than treating road safety as a single training session, the training focuses on prevention in daily practice: how vehicles are checked, how journeys are planned, how risks are recognised, and how drivers respond under pressure.
This July, TGS Fleet Services is offering several opportunities for organisations to strengthen road safety skills across their teams. The upcoming Road Safety: 90% Preventable webinar on 14 July will explain why most crashes can be avoided and what organisations can do to reduce risk through training, systems and safety culture.
For teams looking for hands-on learning, TGS will also deliver in-person Road Safety Training in Turkey from 13–24 July. These sessions are designed to build practical skills in driving, technical awareness and fleet risk management, helping teams run safer, more reliable and more efficient operations.
Prevention starts before the journey begins. With the right training, drivers and fleet teams can make better decisions, reduce avoidable incidents and help keep operations moving safely.
